Bant Singh:
And even if our roots die …oh comrades
We will sacrifice our lives in the fire
Delhi Sultanate:
Fire fire fire fire
Check the fire that my brother Bant Singh bring
Fire ago bon dem colonial thinking
Youths must wake up
Nah have no inkling
Sell out life we’re on the brink of extinction
Like titanic Babylon ship sinking
Big leaders dem all big ina pimping

Man like Sharad Pawar dem a di kingpin
Money ago mek.. justa chi ching ching
Plus in New Delhi dem in love with the bling bling
Check the conditions that my people living in
Drink dirty water and dem food keep shrinking
Plus some Dalit youth still face lynching
From Chiapas to Chattigarh youths start linking
Whether lose lose or whether dead ina win win
dem a raisw di sin thing with the glocks dem glinting
yow
Bant Singh:
Those who suck the blood of the working class
Will have their false egos smashed and destroyed
The masses have set out with their resolve
Delhi Sultanate:
The banks spend your money and reimburse their purse
I wonder how dem ago reimburse the earth
Reimburse kids who go head first dead in the hearse
Ak- 47 shoot lead up in bursts
Blood stain dark red on our shirts
Hunger is bad but thirst is worst
Dem dutty imperialist curse dem birth
Cuz dem mash up di earth cuz dem mash up di earth
Youthman have to observe and search
We have to find what life really worth
Youthman have to observe and search
Cuz we defend wi turf cuz we defend wi turf
Fire fire fire
Bant Singh:
And even if our roots die …oh comrades
We will sacrifice our lives in the fire

Just imagine if these outtakes made it into EATEOT, the project would've been over seven hours! I love how "I Might Be Vanishing" is a stark contrast from other tracks, being only nine seconds. 913GA
This collaboration between drummers Lee Buford (The Body) & Zac Jones (Braveyoung/MSC) is a blistering, beat-heavy triumph. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2021

I was brought here after listening to a live performance of Makaya's on you tube. I instantly loved the song Holy Lands so much that I had to see if the album version was the same rendition as the live one. Then I listened to the whole album! Universal Beings is a just a groove... It's a mix of traditional and something new, very nice. pandr1900
